Thankful For New Mercies

Grace for a New Day

Reflection:
Every new day is a quiet reminder that God has not given up on you. Even when yesterday felt heavy, messy, or overwhelming, His mercy meets you again this morning. You don’t have to earn a fresh start — it’s given.

When you choose to be thankful for new mercies, you stop replaying old failures and start embracing God’s present grace. Today is not defined by what went wrong, but by Who is with you.

Thought: Every sunrise is proof that God hasn’t given up on you.

Scripture:
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for new mercies that meet me every morning. Help me release yesterday and receive the grace You’re offering me today. Amen.

Journal Prompt:
What “yesterday” do you need to release so you can fully receive today’s mercy?
